Couture Concierge Roberta Roberts is passionate about fashion, Manhattan’s "larger than life" atmosphere and bringing together friends for outrageous, fun adventures and enough time to enjoy the atmosphere and cache of New York City.

Thus Couture Concierge NYC was created.

Couture Concierge Roberta Roberts moved to San Diego recently after having established a successful career creating and furnishing commercial interiors in New York City and northern New Jersey. In fact, it was while she was overseeing the interior redesign of a large pharmaceutical corporation in La Jolla that Roberta fell in love with the beauty, weather, and the charms of Southern California. She and her spouse ultimately relocated after much planning and mixed emotions.

During her New York City career, Roberta had the privilege of making many contacts in the fashion industry with clients including Donna Karan, Anne Klein, Emanuel Ungaro, DKNY and several private showrooms for accessories and sleepwear. While working for months on projects and spending much time with her clients creating efficient and pleasing workplaces or showrooms, many of these contacts became Roberta’s personal friends and remain so even after she relocated to the West Coast.

Living in San Diego, Roberta welcomed Southern California's lifestyle. However, she truly missed the hectic pace and electricity that is the true flavor of New York City. Roberta found that her personal passion for high fashion and style were no longer part of her lifestyle in San Diego. In addition, Roberta missed her large circle of women friends and the fun she experienced in her “girls only” get-togethers.

All of these elements combined to encourage Roberta to make an important decision to leave her professional background of commercial interior design and create a fantasy adventure that she wanted non-New Yorkers to experience and enjoy.
